Qualified electrician “A” Category MEIBC
  • Key Objective

    To do electrical and maintenance and repairs at our manufacturing plant on a day to day basis.

  • Minimum Requirements

    Grade 12/ or equivalent qualification


    Qualified Electrician


    3 years in a maintenance position in a manufacturing factory environment

    Duties :      

    Must be able to work independently.                

    Must be familiar and able to work on AC and DC circuits.

    Must be familiar with automated machinery and PLC’s

    Must be able to work at elevated heights.

    Able to do heavy physical work.

    General engineering workshop skills e.g. wiring and rewiring, reading of drawings, replacing faulty components etc.


     Prepared to work overtime, standby and over Xmas shutdown

    Own reliable transport essential and within 30 min. of factory

Two Shift Operator Positions
  • Basic information

    We require the services of 2 Shift Operators- Polyfoam at our Head Office in Parow, Cape Town.

    The candidate must be willing to work shifts.


  • Key Objective

    To operate various machines on a rotational shift basis in the Polyfoam department so as to ensure that maximum productivity output and quality is achieved per shift.

  • Minimum Requirements

    Education:         Grade 12/ or NQF L3 or equivalent.

    Experience:        Working experience in similar environment

  • Duties

    Reading and understanding works order requirements

    Able to operate all machines in Polyfoam i.e. kneader, roll mill, extruder, CT presses etc;

    Working according to works order instructions and ensuring goods are manufactured optimally

    Filling out schedules and tick list;

    Willing and able to do hard physical labour

    Doing additional duties as deemed necessary


    Reporting to :- Shift Supervisor
